The Eau d’Italie fragrance line is an ode to Italy and the legendary Le Sirenuse Hotel. Developed in the Amalfi Coast, the range includes fragrances as well as bath and body products created by world’s most recognized and evocative noses. From the citrus gardens of Positano to the cool mornings of Capri, every scent is unique and takes you through an olfactory landscape reflective of the art and history of beautiful Italy.
The Sirenuse opened its doors in 1951, when the Marchesi Sersale transformed their summer home into a 5 star luxury hotel overlooking the bay of Positano. Today’s The Sirenuse has 58 rooms, furnished with all the comforts of a luxury hotel while retaining the atmosphere of a private home. Franco Sersale, a son of the family who had lived abroad for many years, returned to Positano in 1990 and began the major renovation of the hotel. Since 1992, his son Antonio manages of the hotel. Carla, Antonio’s wife, looks after the boutique EMPORIO Le Sirenuse. Giulia, Paolo Sersale’s daughter, is responsible for all terraces and plants. Marina Sersale, Paolo’s other daughter, with her husband Sebastián Alvarez Murena, created Eau d’Italie, Le Sirenuse’s signature fragrance line.
We are excited to have had the opportunity to learn more about Eau d’Italie’s Sebastián Alvarez Murena in The Etiket Questionnaire!
