Dramatic Matte Lipstick
Matte red lips make for a bold style statement, or it can subtly enhance your look depending on which colour you choose. Ultra glamorous reds are perfect for an evening look, and nudes and pinks can be great for daytime looks. The key to obtaining this look with any lipstick application is by blotting excess moisture with a tissue and then applying a translucent powder over top. Team a matte lipstick with a neutral eye and soft makeup.

Coloured Liner
Sometimes such a minor change in your makeup routine can make quite the difference! Instead of using black or brown eyeliner, opt for an eye catching colour in hues of blue, purple or green. Selecting a colour is a personal choice, however there are some basic tricks of the trade that will help you select a colour that will enhance and draw more focus to your eyes.

Blue Eyes: To really make blue eyes pop, select a deep blue eyeliner such as GloMinerals Precision Eye Pencil in Twilight.

Brown Eyes: Almost any colour will work when you have brown eyes, but if you want to intensify them, a green shade like GloMinerals Precision Eye Pencil in Deep Olive will open them up and give them a pop.

Hazel Eyes: As with brown and green eyes, most colours will work well, but a metallic bronze shade such as GloMinerals Jeweled Eye Pencil in Bejeweled Bronze will highlight any brown undertones beautifully!

Green Eyes: Deep earthy shades are ideal for green eyes. Purple undertones like those in GloMinerals Jeweled Eye Pencil in Merlot will enhance the green flecks in your eyes.

Contouring and Highlighting
A technique that makes cheekbones more evident and adds beautiful shadows and highlights to tone the face is considered by some, to be an art form, mastered only by the pros. Fear not, we assure you that anyone can do it quite easily and in two steps with the right tools and products. When contouring and highlighting, the key is to make sure that you highlight the areas where the light hits the highest points of the face; the high part of the cheekbone, forehead, bridge of the nose, chin and the jaw line.

1. Using an angled blush brush, apply GloMinerals Bronzer in Sunkiss to hairline, hollows of cheeks, jawline blending down the neck, both sides of the bridge of nose, and into your eye crease.

2. Using the highlight shade from GloMinerals Shimmer Brick in Lustre and a blush or fan brush, highlight the areas next to each place of contour; down bridge of the nose, middle of forehead, tops of cheekbones, center of chin, and above your cupid’s bow (lips).
