This spring, Penhaligon’s launched Ostara. A delicate solar floral fragrance inspired by spring’s cheery yellow flower, the daffodil. When I smell it, I see yellow. Ostara is a modern version of strong floral scent refreshed with aldehydes and fresh green notes. The opening of Ostara is true to the scent of Daffodils, lush green stems, leaves, and earth. Bergamot, Juniper and Spearmint provide a fresh, lively and crisp edge, while Violet Leaf Absolute adds an earthy, vegetal facet. As Ostara dries down, it become soft and delicate. Vanilla and musk, add a slightly sweet, creamy-fluffy effect that finishes powdery. The sillage is light, but the longevity is excellent! An instant classic, I would say!
